My card idea was inspired by Agnieszka Malyszek's card from Case Study (See Below)
Can you see the springs?
I found these hipsters in the Silhouette store. They were too cool to pass up. I cut everything out, including the words, on my Silhouette. I colored various pieces using Copics RV17, BG10, Y17, R81, and YG13. The "birthday" sentiment was mounted with foam adhesive and the word "hippy" went through the Xyron Create-a-Sticker. The hippies were mounted using the technique demonstrated by Virginia Lu.
This card is entered in the following challenges:
CASE Study Challenge #89
Edit: I removed the image of this card. It was getting pinned on Pinterest from my blog and unintentionally giving me the credit. Yikes! Please see above for the link to Aga's blog.
CAS-ual Fridays: CFC51 - Birthday Card
This will be my last post for a while (I'm telling this to myself more than to anyone else). We have my husband's parents coming up to see our girls in the school play. I NEED to focus on other things, but all I WANT to do is play! I am looking forward to having them though, so it's a good thing!
Hope you have a great day!
Kara Lynne
