Time to Move!

Second card today.  A friend of mine is moving and I wanted to make her a special card.  Moving is never easy, especially in today's economy.  Every time we move we say, "Never again!"  So, here's the card:

See, there's her family up in the air!  Again, this card was inspired by Vicky Papaioannou.  She has a wonderful way of creating scenes on her cards.  I cut the birdhouse and birds using my Silhouette.  The felt clouds were traced from a template cut with my Silhouette as well.  I didn't have any trees, so I made my own template and cut them out of scraps.  I clear embossed the birds using VersaMark and a Stampin' Up corner stamp that's at least eight years old.  I used Ranger Distress ink for the background and on the birds and trees.  I paper pieced the birdhouse with various scraps I had on hand.
