Lawn Fawn's Cheery Deer | Video!

As a teenager, I loved all things pink at Christmas.  Maybe it was that 80's mauve craze.  I still enjoy a bit of pink now and again - I think it keeps me young at heart and hey, that's heart healthy, right?!

Purple Onion Designs - Jingle Bells and Happy Tails

 This little scottie is all decked out in his tartan wool jumper, ready to ring in the holiday season!

Pierre is colored with Copic markers.  The star hanging from his tail was swapped with a jingle bell brad.  I paper pieced his scarf and sweater.  The tartan paper is straight from Scotland.

I used a Sizzix embossing folder to give texture to the white space in the background.  The sentiment was heat embossed in silver:

Purple Onion Designs - Muriel's Quadruple Back Flip

Hello sports fans, er, I mean stamp fans!  Today, Muriel is going to attempt a quadruple back flip:

 

And she sticks the landing!  Okay, maybe is was a single back flip, but I'm still impressed, Muriel!

In order for Muriel to spin, I cut a hole in the background paper behind Muriel's behind. I placed a piece of cardstock that was larger than the hole behind the paper, attached a small piece of foam adhesive to it, popped through the hole, and attached Muriel to the other side.

Let It Snow with Lawn Fawn!

 Lawn Fawn's Tiny Friends are among my favorites, and now they have Tiny Holiday Friends! 

To set the scene, I die cut the new Giant Let It Snow out of the center of a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle cut out of Fog cardstock.  Next, I die cut the panel with the new Stitched Snowflake Backdrop and ink blended everything with Lawn Fawn's Forget-Me-Not and Moonstone ink.  I replaced the center with a Moonstone cs Giant Let It Snow die cut, and offset the Fog cs one on top of it.

I chose to use just the snowman from this cute set, and stamped him out many times.  All the friends are so fun to tuck into the little nooks and crannies of the Giant Let It Snow!

Purple Onion Designs 2021 Winter/Holiday Release - Wobbling Murray

Today's card features stamps from Purple Onion Designs' Snow Much Fun collection, illustrated by Shari Bresciani.

Murray is a little shaky on his skates, I cut his bottom leg off, attached it to the background, and then attached the rest of his body on a Wobbler spring.  The skate blades were stamped with Staz-on ink on acetate and attached to the bottoms of his skate boots.  The rest of this fella was stamped in Lawn Fawn's Jet Black ink and colored with Copic markers and Signo white gel pen highlights.
