Today's card is CAS. Every Tuesday the Silhouette online store gives away a free digital image. This peacock feather graphic came free as a larger background a while back. I was trying to figure out how to make some fringe-like feathers to go with it, and I knew I wanted to use this stamp sentiment so, voila!
That's not dust on your screen, it's a shimmer mist on the "eye" edged with glitter. I raised up one edge of it with foam tape to give just a little dimension. The thin green strip was cut using the Creative Memories curvy cutting tool (which I neglected to add to the Inlinkz).

ReplyDeleteThis is a really good idea! I love how you used the sentiments like feathers! :>
ReplyDeleteWhere should I begin, Kara? the color combo, the texted feather, the raised tip, the mist and glitter or the design? :) I am not a big fan of feathers, but peacock feather is an exception! I love it! Maybe because of the blue/green colors...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love the sentiment as feathers! Bold & beautiful!
