Yesterday, on the Make It Monday #199 video, Betsy Veldman showed us a fun way to add dimension to our cards using sequins as a garland, so I wanted to play along:
Here's a closer look at those sequins, I die cut a little window as their background:
I used PTI Wonderful Words: Birthday Die and PTI papers Hibiscus Burst, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, Ripe Avocado, and Hawaiian Shores. I also used Raspberry Fizz, and Aqua Mist in the sequins. The sequins and little starburst die cuts are from PTI's Make It Market Kit: Shakers + Sprinkles.
I also want to link this to the current CASology Challenge for Week 131: Birthday.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Love how fun and colorful this card is. Those are the dies I was planning on using for my MIM card, when I get to it. Love how you put the garland in the negative space from another birthday die cut.

ReplyDeleteHi Kara. Thanks for your kind words on my blog...I love getting confirmation that fellow stampers like what I'm doing! :0) You asked me about Google + and how it works, and I'm embarrassed to tell you I don't know. When I set up my blog, I kind of flew by the seat of my pants and was pushing buttons and just seeing what came up. I do know when I want to follow someone's blog, I go to blogger and then click on Layout, and then there's a button that says Blogs I Follow...when you fill in the information from each blog you want to follow, every time that person posts a new post, it will go to the top of your "Blogs I Follow" list. I hope that helps, and I'm sorry I can't answer your questions about Google + ... I know just enough about computers to be dangerous and am much better at stamping than technical things. :0)
