This post would more aptly be titled: Well, I tried!
I watched Melissa Phillips' MIM video several times. I cut various dies from many different papers. I layered, unlayered, layered, and unlayered, over and over until I finally had to call it done. I tried to add some more layers, but nothing looked right. I didn't know layering could be so difficult!
MIM kit Shakers + Sprinkles. I cut it and some Hibiscus Burst cs into tags and punched a hole through them. The ribbon is from pajama packaging. The cupcake, semi-oval, and banners were cut from the Baker's Dozen die set. The white banner was cut in half to make it longer. The cake stand was cut from Harvest Gold cs using the Cake Plates die set. The Swoosh "birthday" was cut from Hawaiian Shores cs. I stamped the March cupcake from Baker's Dozen Stamp Set in DI Antique Linen and colored it with Distress Markers and a water brush.

I am happy to report that only scrap pieces were used to put together this card, so it's also going over to the City Crafters Challenge Blog week #250: Use It Up! With these little layers, it was easy to do!
Thank you so much for coming over to visit! I hope you are enjoying your day!
