We Blend Well

My wrist is not well enough for house chores yet, only card making😉  Seriously, I am able to move it again, but taking it easy.  Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes.

I had fun with some loose DI water coloring.  The background shows through the blender as though it's liquid - kinda fun.  Not too much detailed Copic coloring required for this Valentine.

This card was created specifically with two card challenges in mind:
Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #21 for its hearts, sequins, and colors                     Fusion Card Challenge for its sketch.

Supplies:
Stamps:  LF So Smooth, Sweet Friends
Dies:  LF Lacy Borders, Scalloped Box Card Pop-up (stitched rectangle)
Copics: R3537 RV00,02,04
Inks: VersaMark, Memento Tuxedo Black, DI Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar, Candied Apple, Fired Brick
Other: SSS Fine detail white embossing powder, Michael's Heart confetti

Thanks so much for coming over to visit!  I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Kara

  1. haha, I don't think your wrist will ever be 'well enough' for house chores ever again, you have to look after it so you can make cards (wink)! Love your berry heart smoothie, it's making me thirsty!

  2. What a fun card Kara. It reminds me of when my blender lid shot off and decorated the kitchen wall lol!! So clever to put the tiny confetti in the blender. I'm glad your wrist is feeling better but best to rest in the craft room for a while and not risk the chores just yet.
    Hugs

  12. You know, Kara, I've heard of this phenomenon, so I know it is a very real thing that some injuries result in home responsibilities being impossible to manage, but crafting is not a problem! It's like a miracle! lol! I am very happy about that and in awe of this stunning blender Valentine! Those colors are blow-your-socks-off spectacular!! Can you tell I love this?! Continued healing, my friend, but don't overdo it! Hugs, Darnell

  15. Have you warned your hubby that it might be a permanent condition, that your wrist might never be strong enough to do housework again, only crafting? ;)
Oh my, this watercolored background is phenomenal and your blender so much fun! Absolutely love this card!

  16. Oh dear, no housework, Kara ... such a shame (tee hee) that you had to resort to card making! Brilliant card ... love that loose watercolouring ... so cool and clever ... makes it look as though your smoothie did a bit of escaping from the top of the blender! Hugs, Anita :)

Gorgeous 'Valentine' color palette and I love how you created a peek-a-boo effect with your blender! Never mind all the housework...you need to continue crafting in your studio :)
