Time Off for Surgery

A couple of years ago I had shoulder surgery on my right shoulder, and apparently my left shoulder did not want to be left out, so now it is taking it's turn.  I will be away from blogging while I go through the rehab process.  I may not be commenting, but know that I will still be silently visiting when I can.

I thought a pocketful of sunshine would do us all some good.  I love this WPlus9 pocket and its many possibilities.  I always adhere it so that it gaps open at the top slightly.
Some masking and ink blending brought out the brightness of the stamped sun.  I stamped the pocket die onto blue colored cs, so I went around with a white gel pen to emphasize the stitching.  The little sentiments were silver heat embossed onto the popped up clouds and the 'sunshine' was die cut from both cs and fun foam.

This card is going over to play at the Fusion Challenge - Rain or Shine.  I focused on the photo concept.

Supplies:
Stamps:  WPlus9 A Pocketful
Dies:  WPlus9 Sunshine Layers
Ink:  DI Faded Jeans, Fossilized Amber, PTI Harvest Gold, Enchanted Evening, VersaMark
Paper:  PTI Blueberry Sky
Other:  MFT Radiating Rays stencil, SSS Ultra fine sliver embossing powder, Uni-ball Signo White gel pen, fun foam

Thanks for coming over to visit.  I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Kara

  17. It's a shame that your left shoulder is jealous that your right shoulder got to have surgery and it feels left out! I'm sending prayers for your surgery and a quick and easy recovery. Your sunshine card is delightful and so cheery. I need that today as we are having 3-6 inches of snow today and already have three on the ground. Come back when you can, we will be here. Hugs.
