  2. WOW!! Your little mouse and lantern are absolutely ADORABLE Kara, but the tree...oh my gosh it is absolutely AMAZING my friend!! You achieved SO much depth with your coloring that it's just blowing me away!! And I love the greenery in the waaaaay background too! FABULOUS card Kara!! :0)

  5. Oh, sure, like anybody can just draw a giant magical tree and wooded scene and color it so realistically. No big deal. WHAT?! Kara, you have more talent in your little pinkies than I have in my whole body! This scene is so heartwarming!! Doesn't she look like she's gotten to one of the best parts of her book and she had to stop and lay it against her chest and just stay in the moment and the glow from the lantern for a little while? Aaaaaaah. So evocative!! Stacey must LOVE you!! Mwah! Hugs, Darnell

  8. There are no words. I am totally awestruck with your hand drawn forest and coloring. Those trees are simply beautiful and the glow from the lantern is so real. The reflection on Mia's face just lights up this scene. You are a true artist.
