Calorie Free

Oh coffee!  My day doesn't really start until I've had a cup.  I never used to like coffee until I started dating my husband, Gene.  Now I'm quite dependent.  Gene believes coffee should be non-flavored with cream only, tea should only have sugar, but the kid at heart will take whipped cream whenever it's offered.  He was a bit aghast when I brought home a flavored creamer or drank my tea plain or with milk!  He's been traveling for work a lot lately, so this is a little cyber note to him (I know, you're blushing now, me getting so personal).

I made and cut the oval on my Silhouette.  The cup is a digital die from the Silhouette store called "coffee cup gift card set"  It can be made into a card itself, but I shrunk it for the occasion.  I cut it on white cardstock and then traced it out onto a real coffee cup sleeve and the cup is an oatmeal paper from Lily Bee Design.  I stamped the text with the stamp set that came with the Anna Griffin collection (see the InLinkz above) in Distress inks, "Old Paper" and "Gathered Twigs".  The cup and oval are shaded a bit with the same inks.  I wrote my little poem with Calibri font in Word and printed it on the white cardstock.  Lastly, I adhered the cup on with foam.

This card is entered in the following challenges:
 CAS-ual Fridays: CFC60
Moxie Fab World: Stamp It!  Cards Week:  The Love Card Challenge

Thanks so much for coming over.  I hope your day is full of wonderful blessings!
Kara Lynne
