Although, they look yellow here, the leggings and cake bottom are a limey green. For some reason, that color never photographs well for me. Any suggestions? The image was heat embossed in silver and colored with Inktense pencils. The letters were cut using the Sihouette.
I used the MFT Gift Card Envelope die to make an envelope out of wrapping paper. Here you can see the back and front:
and tucked in with the gift:
Supplies:
Stamps: Penny Black A Little Bird
Dies: MFT Gift Card Envelope die-namic
Ink: VersaMark
Other: Derwent Inktense Pencils, SSS ultra fine silver embossing powder, Paper Studio silver mirror paper, Silhouette Cameo.
This card is going over to play in the SSS Wednesday Challenge: Food and/or Drink.
Thanks for coming over to visit. I hope you're having a wonderful day!

Beautiful! Love your coloring, and vibrant envelope -- such a great idea to use giftwrap! I feel for your limey not showing up correctly... been there...
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is going to adore this gorgeous gift, I know I wouldn't want to unwrap something so beautifully put together! Your choice of card is perfect '16' year old, funky and fun without a hint of 'child', love it Kara!
ReplyDeleteHapy birthday to your daughter! I know just how quick time flies! Your card and envelope are both stunning and she is one lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sweet 16 to Elizabeth! What a delightful card you've made for her! I adore the wrapping paper envie idea!! Sorry, I'm no help with the colors appearing off in a photograph. It happens to me, too, sometimes and it's so annoying. Have a fun celebration!! Hugs, Darnell
