Twofer Card Challenge #18: Garden

Do you garden?  Sadly, I don't.  I maintain the yard, but that's not the same.  I can, however, make cards with a garden theme, and that is just what we're asking this month at the Twofer Card Challenge.  My garden item of choice is a pea and pod from Lawn Fawn's Be Hap-pea.
The baby card was stamped in Memento New Sprout and colored with Copics.  The sentiment was stamped in Memento Bamboo Leaves.  The top word was curved.
This birthday card was also stamped with Memento New Sprout and colored with Copics.  The faces and sentiment were stamped in Memento Bamboo Leaves.  The by-line of the sentiment was selectively stamped from different stamp sets.

Our busy teammate, Loll, is stepping down from the role as designer, but thankfully, remaining with us as blog administrator.  We are happy to welcome Cat from Cat Luvs Paper as our newest design team member!  I hope you will join us this month and bring the garden into your craft area by joining us at the Twofer Card Challenge.  Please head over there to see some great inspiration from our guest designers Kathy (My Aspirations) and Robyn (Waterlily Cards), and the design team!

  5. Blown away. Trying hard to come up with some peasing phrases, but your designs and coloring have truly blown my mind. Now I'm just a pea-brain. (Sorry, Edith. Pronounced Kara). Absolutely perfect shades of greens. That plaid paper is so right for a baby card, and the scalloped edges frames that image beautifully. Group-peas. Got a good chuckle out of that! Clever girl. And those faces...not to mention those party hats. What an amazing card. Two of them in fact. Love these!!! Talk soon? xoxo Bev

  7. I don't think I've seen cuter peas in my life, Kara! Your coloring is sensational; brilliant how you've made each pea and pod look 3D so they pop off the card! And, p(l)eas(e)! Those faces and tiny party hats are everything! Someone should grab up (and pay you, of course) your pp designs and turn them into pp that people could buy! I love each of your different designs and, of course, you know you had me at plaid!! Plus, well done with that fun sediment you built with several sets!! Hugs, Darnell
