Countdown to Confetti | Day Two

Welcome to day two of Countdown to Confetti!  Today we are featuring the new Rain or Shine stamp set, Snail Mail stamp set and their coordinating Confetti Cuts.

My first card features two friends from Rain or Shine, just chillin' on a rainbow of happiness:

I stamped the cats and clouds first, masked them, and then stamped the rainbow in a light ink.  I colored them with Copic markers to give them a "no line" look.

I masked them again, along with the rainbow, and ink blended the background with Distress Oxide Spun Sugar and Wilted Violet.

The sentiment is from the new This Says it All stamp set.  I stamped it onto one of the Three Tags Confetti Cuts that was also ink blended with Distress Oxide.  A little snippet of white velvet ribbon completed the look.

My next two cards and envelope focus on the new Snail Mail stamp set:

I stamped the images onto a kraft card base and envelope with brown ink and colored them with Prismacolor pencils.

For this first card, I stamped and masked one of the envelope images from the set, giving this happy snail a mountain of mail.

He is met by his pal snail on the front of this envelope along with two sentiments from the Snail Mail stamp set.

He then made his way to another card.  This time he's checking the mailbox from Snail Mail.  The flowers and sentiment are also from Snail Mail, and the clouds and sun are from the Rain or Shine stamp set.

  4. Oh goodness, Kara ... such colouring magic ... these are all adorable! The little chums on the rainbow were sweet enough ... then I scrolled down and found the snails ... what cuties! Les escargots are the symbol of our Departement ... so I have a special affection for them (not an eating one!). Big hugs and bisous, Anita :)
