A Simple Set of Thank You Notes | Video

I found a darling pad of paper from Craft Consortium called Over the Hedge.  It was designed by Melissa Lowry.  I decided I wanted to use it rather than hoard it, so I bought two pads.  Ever do that?  Anyway,  I thought it combined well with the Toadstool Mouse Edger by Cathie Shuttleworth for Creative Expressions.  I offset most of the die cuts with another die cut underneath to give it more dimension, and then ink blended them.  I thought the Lawn Fawn Wavy Sayings and banner die finished it off well.  Now I have sixteen new thank you notes to add to my ever depleting stash!

Here's a video showing how these cards came together with a few tips along the way.  You can watch it here or on my YouTube channel:

  1. Yep, definitely charming papers, Kara ... what lovely backgrounds for that fabulous woodland-style die cut! My favourites ... the one that started off white ... and the light green ones ... though I have to say they're all wonderful! Big hugs and bisous, Anita :)

  6. First of all, the title includes the word simple. These are not simple. Simple is a single die cut slapped on a card and a greeting stamped. These are amazing. The papers are stunning, the matching colors under each die are gorgeous, the design is lovely and every card is outstanding. Not one thing is simple about these. Miss you!
