The girl was fussy cut, colored with Copics and paper pieced a bit. The gems were colored with Copic RV25. The glitter glue is from Crayola and it's PINK, but looks a bit orange-ish on the photo. I sewed the candles on with some craft thread. I had to draw in the flames. The ribbon and papers are from my stash. My white cardstock is from Wal-mart. I really should get some of that great Neenah cardstock every one is talking about as I live just minutes from the Neenah paper mill!

Really cute card Kara! Sweet stamps, and hand stitched candelas. Never heard of Neenah paper, I will have to look into that. So far I love PTI .
ReplyDeleteOh my that is what you call fussy cutting on that image.. LOL! love the color/combo and great stitching on that candle too.... Hey don't be surprise I used that same kind of paper that you do too from Walmart.. And I just love it- I have no problems with any of my markers on it......

ReplyDeleteOooo! Lovin' all those polka dots and the way you've layered some behind and others over the ribbon! That creates such fantastic dimension! Great take on the duo! Bright pink and black take me a little too far out of my comfort zone to attempt this one ;). Hugs!
