Make a Wish

I've been wanting to play along with the new Dynamic Duo Challenge.  It looks so fun to design around two colors.  This week it's Mambo Melon and Basic Black with the option of ribbon.

InLinkz.com

The girl was fussy cut, colored with Copics and paper pieced a bit.  The gems were colored with Copic RV25.  The glitter glue is from Crayola and it's PINK, but looks a bit orange-ish on the photo.  I sewed the candles on with some craft thread.  I had to draw in the flames.  The ribbon and papers are from my stash.  My white cardstock is from Wal-mart.  I really should get some of that great Neenah cardstock every one is talking about as I live just minutes from the Neenah paper mill!

This card is entered in the following challenge:
Dynamic Duos #7

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you're having a great day!

  23. Oooo! Lovin' all those polka dots and the way you've layered some behind and others over the ribbon! That creates such fantastic dimension! Great take on the duo! Bright pink and black take me a little too far out of my comfort zone to attempt this one ;). Hugs!
