Twofer Card Challenge #6: Trees

It's the start of another fun Twofer Card Challenge and this month is all about trees!  My first inclination was to turn a tree into a piece of broccoli, but I couldn't come up with any good occasion where broccoli would fit well, so I kept both of my cards traditional.

My twofer choice is a wonderful rubber stamp from Purple Onion Designs called 2 Forests (I used the larger of the two images).  First up is a birthday card where the trees line the background of a Copic colored scene:
I took a few photos of the process on this card:

The second card is a wintry Christmas card.  I stamped the tree image twice again, this time in black ink and used a Copic multi-liner to extend the line of the hill.  The trees were colored with Copics, but left mostly white.  They were fussy cut and the snowy base was popped up on foam over a sky of Black Brusho that was ink blended with DI Chipped Sapphire to brighten it up a bit, and spattered with white acrylic paint/water mixture.  The word die was inlaid into the sky.
Here they are as a Twofer!

A wonderful friend graduated from college last month.  She is a dog lover and has two that resemble the two white dogs in the top row of my card.
I stamped in black and clear heat embossed the image so I could color with Zigs.  They all got pink cheeks to brighten up the various shades of brown.
