These sweet characters were so much fun to color with Copic markers.  I fussy cut them and then arranged them on the Woodland Background.  The scene was extended a bit to fit my 3.5"x8.5" slimline card.

Making Some Noise for Purple Onion Designs' Summer Release

I colored the images with Copic markers, fussy cut them, and arranged them on the Woodland background.  It was fun to color those trees in pinks and purples!

Purple Onion Designs Summer Release Illustrated by Stacey Yacula

It's a celebration over at Purple Onion Designs!  The new summer release, illustrated by Stacey Yacula, is here!  

In celebration of Stacey's 10th year illustrating stamps for Purple Onion Designs, the entire "A Special Day" collection will be 10% off when purchased individually.

I stamped the room background (from the previous release) on grey cardstock and then shaded it with Copic markers.  The sentiment and music notes were heat embossed in white.  The critters and table were colored with Copic markers, fussy cut, and arranged in the room.  The table and turtle were also stamped directly on the room image for the balloon strings.

A Wild Tea Party Ride with Lawn Fawn | Video!

If you've ever been to Disney World, chances are you've sat in a tea cup twirling around a teapot that looked something like this:

The tea cups look different depending on whether you're at Disney World or Disneyland.  I've only been to Disney World so I mimicked my ride after that one.  The lid of the teapot in the middle of the ride opens and a mouse pops up while it's moving.

I thought this joke from the stamp set, Dad Jokes, went well with the tree.  All of the die cuts on this card came with the Tree House die set.  The bushes in the background are the same dies as the tree leaves but cut in half and colored differently.

Lawn Fawn's New Release is a Work of Art

 Getting inky today with a great new stencil and fun art supplies dies:

The new Paint Splatter Background stencil is great for both subtle and wild backgrounds!  The jar was cut out of both white cardstock and acetate.  I added some stencil paste mixed with green ink to the back of the acetate, stuck the paint brush in it, and adhered it to the white cardstock (colored with Copics).

Lawn Fawn Summer Release - Pool Party!

Wouldn't it be great to just float around a pool all day in the sunshine?  I could deal with that! 
 

I used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Pond Frame as the pool and colored the water with Copic markers and a white gel pen.  I made sure to position the floaties in the pool first in order to get the wave pattern to match.
