Purple Onion Designs' 2021 winter/holiday collections are now available!  Today's card features stamps from Stacy Yacula's new collection, I'll Be Home For the Holidays.

It's time to gather around the table, and this year these pals are truly grateful to be together:

Pierre and Scottie are decking the halls as the sun sets in a blaze of pink and red glory:

The background was ink blended with Distress Oxide inks and spritzed with water.  Everything else was colored with Copic markers:

Leaves are Falling with Purple Onion Designs

Oh to be a kid again and jump in the leaves!  At this point, not only would my body not comply, but my brain would ask, "what gross things are also in that pile?"  

These two have nothing to fear in their colorful pile of leaves, just good clean fun:

The sentiment continues on the inside of the card "...to make me happy!"

The background trees are from an older Simon Says Stamp die called Birch Tree Window.  I cut it twice to widen the opening in kraft cardstock and ink blended the edges.  The background was also ink blended, and everything else was colored with Copic markers along with a white Prisma color pencil.

Sending a Little Encourage-mint!

 Need some encourage-mint today?  These mints are here to help!

To stand these fellows up, I cut five slits in the red scalloped circle, slipped a stand from the Cake Box die set through each slit, and adhered a peppermint to both sides of the stand.  The red scalloped circle was then adhered to the pink circle, which was then adhered to the lid of the jar.  There is a white star in the center to fill in the space.

The dome is half of a plastic ornament from a craft store.  I attached the dome with super glue.  I used a Tiny Tag and Peppermint hemp cord for a finishing touch.

Have a GIANT Merry Christmas!

 Lawn Fawn's new Giant Holiday Messages Paired with the Peppermint Stripes Backdrop, is great for a quick and clean card!  I cut the oval out of watercolor paper and added a little Distress ink with water and a paint brush.

A Frosty Christmas with Lawn Fawn

I saw this ice truck the other day (photo below) and its logo inspired this card design:

Lawn Fawn's new Magic Iris Snowflake Add-on worked perfectly to recreate the white negative space.  I also dressed up the Mermaid cardstock with Fairy Dust stencil paste and the new Snowflake Backgrounds stencils.  I ink blended over that with Distress Ink, which left the Mermaid cardstock visible underneath the Fairy Dust paste.  The new Magic Holiday Messages filled in the center nicely.

I snapped this photo through my very bug encrusted windshield, but you get the gist of it.
