Jelly Belly Picture Changer and Video

Jelly Belly jelly beans are a favorite around here.  I think it's the variety of flavors that make them so much fun.  My card features those colorful beans and Lawn Fawn's new Magic Picture Changer:

I did a little research to determine the coloring of these beans, and created a Copic color chart:

Here is a video to show the process of this card.  You can watch it here or on my YouTube channel:

This card is a CASE of a recent card I made.  I kept the same simple design where the action pull image is front and center of the card.  I switched from the warm colors of coffee to the bright colors of the beans.

This card is going over to play in the following challenges:
Lawnfawnatics Challenge #49 CASE Yourself
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:  Cute

Supplies:
Lawn Fawn How You Bean, Sweetest Flavor, Magic Picture Changer, Really Rainbow 6x6 paper pad
Copics listed on the chart above, except Y04, and C3, multi-liner 0.3

Time Out Reminder - Guest Designer

The Time Out Challenge blog is in the middle of celebrating their fifth year with a special celebratory challenge!  STAMPlorations is sponsoring this challenge, and I used stamps from one of their lines by my blog friend, Deepti Malik called Dee's Artsy Impressions:

This is a combination of two of the stamp sets in her line:  Blossom Sprays #2, and You & Me.  I second generation inked them in Memento Summer Sky and colored them with Copics.  The hugs and the kisses smaller stamps were stamped later with Brilliance Lavender ink and highlighted a little with a Zig Writer marker.  The bottom edge of the panel and a scrap piece of light purple cardstock were cut out with a MFT stitched scallop Basic Edges die.

Copics: B0000,000,12,14,16,63,66, BV000,00,02,04,08, G20,21,24,28, YG0000,21,23,25

I hope you will join us in celebrating five years with the Time Out Challenge team and create a card using their prompt!

Thanks for coming over to visit!  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Twofer Card Challenge #14: Balloons

Balloons abound at the Twofer Card Challenge!  My balloon of choice comes from the W+9 stamp set, Unforgettable:

This first balloon is quite a powerful orb of helium in order to lift that elephant clear into the clouds.  Both the balloon and elephant were colored with Copics and masked before the background was ink blended with a cloud stencil.

The birthday balloons were heat embossed and the birthday diecut was edged with VersaMark and also heat embossed.  They were smooshed with Lindy's Magicals which were also splattered onto the card base.

I hope you'll join us in the gallery with your balloon creations!  You will find our guest designer and design team's cards floating over at the Twofer Card Challenge blog!

Supplies:
Stamps:  W+9 Unforgettable
Dies:  PTI Wonderful Words: Birthday, MFT Single Stitched Rectangle Frames, LF Cole's ABCs

Willy Wonka Meets Lawn Fawn

One of my favorite movie scenes of all times is the imagination room in Willy Wonka's factory!  Thinking about the current Lawnfawnatics challenge brought it to mind, and here's my card:

I wasn't sure if I could really do that scene justice on a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card, but it gives the feel of the room anyway.  I watched clips of the movie to get some ideas.  The scene is a mixture of industrial factory, outdoor garden, and giant candy!  The windows are similar to the factory where it was filmed, and of course it needed a chocolate river.  I have it at a distance and it bubbles up at its bank.  Mr. Wonka is holding a buttercup and saucer like in the movie, and candy is hanging in the trees.  So many more things could be added, like Oompa Loompas and a pipe to suck up Augustus Gloop, but I didn't want the scene to get too heavy.  The wall, walkways, and grassy areas are Copic marker.

This card is going over to play in the following challenges:
