Purple Onion Designs' New Sunshine Lake Collection Illustrated by Stacey Yacula
Today we are headed over to the fairgrounds for a tasty treat:
This little squirrel and his food truck come from the latest release. He's actually selling ice cream, but I covered that with bags of popcorn instead. The sentiment is a new one from this latest release too. Wooley the lamb is just beside herself with anticipation! She, the popcorn, and the background are from last summer's release by Stacey Yacula for Purple Onion Designs.

A Father's Day BBQ with Lawn Fawn's Dandy Day Mice | Video!

New Release: Sunshine Lake Illustrated by Stacey Yacula for Purple Onion Designs!
Welcome to Sunshine Lake! I don't know how far you had to travel to get to the lake, but you're here now and it's time to relax on the beach, take a swim, or even go water skiing!

Cheers To All of the Coca-Cola Fans!
Did you know that there are actual Coca-Cola wedding favors? I'm not sure if they had any Coke favors at their wedding, but this card is for a couple of fans on their anniversary:
I'm featuring this card over at the SugarPea Designs blog today. The Interlocking Circles reminded me of bubbles, which led me to this card idea. The bottles are from the Jukebox Jive stamp set, colored with Copic markers. The Cheers word die and shadow were cut from white and red to mimic the Coca-Cola design. The sentiments from Everyday Sentiments were white heat embossed on red cardstock.
I created the fizzy cola background with a base of Lindy's Magicals in Steampunk Sepia and Silver Shimmer, followed by a blend of Gathered Twigs and Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide ink. I spritzed the background with water to give the texture of fizz in the soda. Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops finish off the bubbly look.

Bouncing Bunny with a Little No Line Coloring | Video
Lawn Fawn's Really High Five bunny was looking for a little extra bounce today:

Twofer Card Challenge #27: Flowers
Happy Twofer Day! It's the 10th of the month and time for another Twofer Card Challenge. This month our focus is flowers, so using a flower stamp, die, or stencil on two cards, for two different occasions, and two totally different designs. My flower of choice are actually the second layer of three flowers from Altenew's Stunning Cosmos:
On a piece of shimmer pink cardstock, I heat embossed the second layer of the Cosmos flowers and their stems with silver embossing powder and fussy cut them out. I added a gem to the two with centers and arranged the flowers vertically with the stems coming from the left side of the card. The sentiment, from the same stamp set, was also heat embossed on a strip of the shimmer pink cs, and layered with two silver on silver papers from my scraps.
I used all the layers of the flowers and stems on this friendship/thank you card. I stamped the layers with Catherine Pooler ink and arranged them in the middle of the card, over an ink blended center.

Sending Happy Mail with a New SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge
Time for a carefree ride down the bike path to deliver some happy mail. This month I chose to use all of the inspirations from SugarPea Designs' Mix It Up challenge which includes the sketch, colors, and photo (see below):
The bike and the "sending" die cut were stamped in a combination of Shaded Lilac, Faded Jeans, and Salty Ocean Distress Inks, with Hickory Smoke DI for the wheels and end of the sentiment. The dog and basket were stamped in Scattered Straw and colored with Copic markers.
