It's Been Way Too Long!

Where have I been?  Long, long story short, I was working on a marketing project to help keep our daughters' Christian school open.  Sorry to say, it is now closed, but the Lord has provided, and He knows better than I.  Without any extra time, It was difficult not commenting on your boards so I just decided to stay away altogether.  I'm sorry that I did. I can't tell you how much I have missed you all!

Today I have a birthday card that I made for an amazing friend who is a big city explorer:

Paper Smooches Sparks is having an Anything Goes Challenge.  Whew!  Thankfully, because this is certainly not a Christmas card, ha!

Stamps:  Paper Smooches Get Outta Town, Sentiment Sampler
Dies:  Paper Smooches Super 2, Clouds
Paper:  Kaisercraft Lush Collection

Thanks for coming to visit.  I hope to catch up with you all very soon!
Kara Lynne

  3. Kara Lynne! Welcome back to blogland! I'm sorry to hear of the school's closing; hoping something good will come of that. LOVE seeing your work again! Happy Holidays!

  4. So glad that you are BACK, Kara Lynn!! I know life can get busy and blogging is not for everyone! BUT the good thing is you can swing back any time! Sorry to hear the school has closed! I am sure God will open another door for you...your card is lovely with the pattern paper and layering! Well done!

  5. Welcome back Kara! We missed you. I am sorry about the school closing ,but you are right God has a plan.
Nice way to come back with such a wonderful card I love the airplane pulling the sentiment.

  6. Welcome back, Kara! I must say how delighted I was to receive some comments from you recently. {thank you so much!} Your card is full of fun touches. I do love your style, and I've enjoyed leaving comments for YOU today!

I'm sorry the school is now closed, but like you said, the Lord knows better than we do about what must happen. Our family just went through an unbelievable trial, shaken us all real good; and one thing that became loud and clear to me is that He is in control.

May God bless you and your loved ones this Christmas, and every day, Kara. xoxoxo

  7. Good to have you back, but sorry to hear about the school.
