These two friends and the sentiment come from the newly released Cottontail Cuties stamp set and the popsicle is from the Hey Summer stamp set. I first stamped the animals, then masked off their paws, and stamped the popsicle. I stamped another popsicle and fussy cut the top part as it overlapped the fox a bit. After I colored those two with Copic markers, I masked them off and blended the background with Distress Oxides Broken China, and Salty Ocean and spritzed it with water.
What inspires you? The sketch? Those popsicles? Maybe it's a bit of both. I hope you will join us for June's Mix-It-Up challenge over at the SugarPea Designs' blog!
Thanks for coming over to visit!
May the Lord bless you today!

This is super cute Kara! Your little friends are adorable and it's wonderful to see them sharing.
ReplyDeleteThose popsicles look yummy and how sweet the bunny and the fox are as friends. Love the sentiment and makes me happy we are friends.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little pair they are! This is darling Kara!
ReplyDeleteDo you know I don't think I've ever eaten an entire Twin Pop? I was so lucky to have someone to share it with me - and LOVED how we split it using the edge of the counter!! You've brought me right back to my childhood, Kara! and I LOVE your sweet friends sharing, too! [these look yummy, but my fave was always root beer!]
ReplyDelete=]
This is SO CUTE!!! We always had to split our popsicles growing up with the four of us. I LOVE how you have the animals each holding a stick. Totally ADORABLE design!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card for that challenge... It's fabulous!
ReplyDeleteMouthwatering, Kara ... that's your splattery background and those ices ... these little cuties are a delight! Big hugs and bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Your background is incredible and perfect for these little sweeties!
ReplyDeleteAwww...sweet critters enjoying popsicles! I just came indoors from being out with the dog. A popsicle would be great right now!
