Twofer Card Challenge #29: Butterflies

Time to Twofer!  We're all a-flutter over at the Twofer Card Challenge blog because our prompt is butterflies!  My butterfly of choice is a die cut from Lawn Fawn's Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-on:
This first card is a bit free form.  I had a large sheet of Yupo paper and just played around with different colors.   I cut the panel from an interesting area of the paper, added the sentiment and butterfly which was cut out of the same paper.
The inside completes the sentiment with a Lawn Fawn Hello Pop-up and LF's Oliver's Stitched ABCs.
This birthday card uses both sizes of butterflies from the die set.  I stamped the sentiment in dye ink and then in clear so I could heat emboss it with clear embossing powder.
And here's the lovely couple together:
Please check out the Twofer Card Channel blog for fantastic inspiration from our amazing guest designers Barb and TK, and the team.  I hope to see you in the gallery!

  1. Your freeform AI art is so striking and gorgeous, Kara ... it flows so beautifully ... a fabulous foil for that tiny butterfly! What a brilliant surprise to find the inside all dressed up in it's matching hello ... so creative and fun! The fresh, zesty greens are delicious on your birthday card ... those little framing butterflies add such lovely dimension ... and draw the eye beautifully to the embossed sentiment! Big hugs and bisous, Anita :)

  14. Oh I am LOVING how you used those teeny weeny butterflies!! The first panel with the fun alcohol background is my favorite. I like the color combo. The second card with how you placed all those teeny, tiny beauties just boggles my mind. You have way more patience than I do for stuff like this!! AMAZING design for both of these cards!!

  15. Wow, what stunning twofers! I love the bright colors, they just give off cheery, happy vibes and in these times, we need that. Your beautiful inky background on the first one is just stunning. I love that you used the sentiment as the butterfly's trail. The second car is so cool with the butterflies going around in a wreath form. I love that they are two different colors! Fabulous paper too. Hugs, Brenda
