Today is the third and last day of the series I have now decided to call, "No Line Coloring With Stamps Borrowed From My Friend, Birgit " This wonderful mermaid image is from Honey Bee Stamps:
The most difficult part for me was creating the scene once the images were colored. I did not like coloring the water over her, but I wanted her to look like she was in it, not in front of it. The bubbles and light beams were done with the Copic 0 and a little white gel pen.
Thank you, Birgit, for letting me borrow your stamps! I had so much fun coloring them!
Supplies:
Stamps: Honey Bee Stamps Swimming By
Dies: MFT Thanks and Hello
Paper: PTI Green Parakeet, Royal Velvet
Copics: 0, B000,00,21,60 for the water. Unfortunately I misplaced my list of Copics that I used. I will update the post if/when I find it.
Other: Signo white gel pen
Thanks for coming over to visit! I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Kara
Masterclass again....Thank you so much x The colouring is amazing and love the way you have done the bubbles and light beams especially x
ReplyDeleteKara, what an adorable card and your coloring is awesome as usual. Love how she looks like she is in the water. Thanks for the sweet babies card. Lol. It is so cute. BTW, Happy Birthday. Look for some Happy Mail, but it will be late. Sorry!!!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful coloring! Adorable mermaid image! Amazing waves and light shining down on her in the water! Great creation, Kara!!
ReplyDeleteThis card is even more beautiful in person. Thank you so much Kara for sending me this amazing piece of art! I have it right in front of my crafty space so I can admire it. I would have had a hard time too, making that first water mark over the mermaid, but it totally worked and looks just like it would under the sea. Your coloring is Mer-maizing! (see what I did there?) ;0) Oh, and how did I miss your birthday??? Happy belated birthday my friend! Be watching for belated wishes. (hugs)
ReplyDeleteThis card took my breath away. The coloring and the colors are fantastic. She definitely looks like she is underwater. I am ready to move to WI to stamp and color with you. This is just awesome.
ReplyDeleteAnother big gasp, Kara ... your little mermaid is mesmerising ... delicious colours, stunning colouring ... love how you were brave enough to have her in the water with the light shining down on her, she looks brilliant! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! You are incredibly talented, Kara! xx
ReplyDeletebeautifully done, kara!! I love her hair... it is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh, this mermaid is so adorable and your coloring skills are mind boggling!
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous no-line work of art. Your copic skills are awesome, and you certainly achieved the effect of this little cute mermaid floating in the water. There's no blurring of the more vivid coloring either. And the way you've created the light effect coming down through the water is really awesome. Good job! And hope your 'boo-boo' is healing very well too. TFS
ReplyDeleteKara I thought I had commented on this card, but I think it may have been on IG. Your no line colouring just amazes me!
ReplyDeleteI love your coloring! Such a cute card! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm speechless! This is amazing! Love the colours and the way you have that gorgeous gal under the water and the icing on the cake is how you got that bottle to look like it is really bobbing in the sea... Terrific!
ReplyDeleteThis is so GORGEOUS, Kara! Your no line coloring is amazing...I love the effect and your color palette is really beautiful! I also love how you created the water with bubbles and your light beams are fabulous! LOVE this card!!!
