After a long, uphill struggle:
It's time to relax!
I think the girl looks a little too serene during her climb up the hill. Maybe I should stamp some sweat coming off her forehead!
The front panel is all die cuts and Distress Ink with the exception of the girl and her bike which were colored with Copics. I masked and DI'd the insides of the wheels to match the bg. The sentiment was computer generated and die cut with the banner from the box pop-up set. The inside pieces are all colored with Copics and a bit of white gel pen.
This card is going to play over at Lawnfawnatics Challenge 37: Something Old - Something New
Rub a Dub Dub is my new and the bathing beauty from Mermaid for You and the Mountain Border are old (if May of 2016 is old). Frankly, most of Lawn Fawn products are new to me and are so much fun to mix and match!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing my friend...I am totally blown away by your creativity!! The front of your card is FABULOUS, but the inside is FANTASTIC! I don't think in a million years I would ever have thought to make a plain white box into a bathtub, but it so totally works! And oh the bubbles...colored just perfectly and really look real! Well done Kara, well done!! :0)

ReplyDeleteSo wonderfully fun and creative, Kara ... two equally brilliant, beautifully coloured, dimensional scenes in one card ... fantastic! She's clearly a very fit cyclist making it through those mountains in such great shape ... no beads of sweat needed!! Hugs, Anita :)

Your coloring is fantastic and, yes, please add some sweat to her brow and maybe stick her tongue out a little, too, because by now she should be panting, lol!! Hugs, Darnell
