Making this background was as easy as a walk in the park! See below for a video demonstration:
These two friends and their balloons were colored with Copics, fussy cut, and placed on a Copic colored background that is set behind a die cut aperture. Jackson's bubbles and bubble wand were cut away, and replaced with the balloon.
I made a video focused on how to create an easy background scene. You can watch it here or on my YouTube Channel:
Absolutely ADORABLE card Kara and I loved the video! I don't know why I never noticed before, but I was really struck by where on the length of the Copic you hold it...for more detailed coloring you hold it closer to the nib, but you hold it much more loosely and further away when you're lightly flicking on color. I've always held mine so close to the nib and very tightly too, no matter what I'm trying to color...I think I think I have more control by holding it so tightly, but really need to concentrate on loosening my grip. Hope that all made sense, but it was kind of a lightbulb moment for me!! But anyway, Willa and Jackson are so darn sweet and just love the little path they're following with their balloons! Thanks for sharing!! :0)
Just the sweetest scene, Kara ... Willa and Jackson are such cuties meandering along their country path! Loved seeing it all come together, as always! Big hugs and bisous, Anita :)
