Warm Autumn Wool Background

I played around with the Buffalo Check background stamp and wanted to make a woven wool plaid looking background.  There are so many plaid patterns waiting to be stamped with the Buffalo Check simply by moving the paper up and over a quarter of an inch!  I think I achieved the scratchy wool blanket affect:
This little guy from Gnome for Christmas has a few fall projects to do before winter sets in.  He even dressed for the occasion with his pumpkin orange shirt and green cap to disguise himself in the pumpkin patch, should any humans appear.

I created a video to show how I made that wool plaid background and the rest of the card.  You can watch it here, on my YouTube channel, or on the SugarPea YouTube channel:

  6. The gnome is adorable, Kara, and the plaid blanket looks like it came from Minnesota Woolen Mills.

  7. Everything about this is adorable. The plaid is awesome and the gnome pulling his pumpkins and holding his lantern to see where he's going is so cute. I must try making that plaid. Please come back and show me in person!
