Cheers To All of the Coca-Cola Fans!

Did you know that there are actual Coca-Cola wedding favors?    I'm not sure if they had any Coke favors at their wedding, but this card is for a couple of fans on their anniversary:

I'm featuring this card over at the SugarPea Designs blog today.  The Interlocking Circles reminded me of bubbles, which led me to this card idea.  The bottles are from the Jukebox Jive stamp set, colored with Copic markers.  The Cheers word die and shadow were cut from white and red to mimic the Coca-Cola design.  The sentiments from Everyday Sentiments were white heat embossed on red cardstock.

I created the fizzy cola background with a base of Lindy's Magicals in Steampunk Sepia and Silver Shimmer, followed by a blend of Gathered Twigs and Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide ink.  I spritzed the background with water to give the texture of fizz in the soda.  Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops finish off the bubbly look.

Thanks for coming over to visit!
May the Lord bless you today!

  8. I love your imagination, Kara. This is a perfect card for a Coke lover. There are Coke stores that have all kinds of Coke memorabilia so I can imagine how fun that would be for someone like your couple. This card is so authentic with the coke background and those bottles are awesome. The sentiment is perfect and those bubbles from all that fizz are great.
