Sending Birthday Fishes with Purple Onion Designs

I love the look of crystal blue ocean water.  I also have a bit of a fear about what's living underneath those waves, so I'm happy to stick to lake and pool swimming.  This little mermaid and her friends were illustrated by Shari Bresciani for Purple Onion Designs.  If I knew they were the only things I'd see in there, I might just go in that water!

All the images were colored with Copic markers.  The bubbles and sentiment were heat embossed in white and the background was ink blended with Distress Oxides.

Supplies:

Purple Onion Designs Stamps: Sea-tements, Mermaid, Branch Coral Set, Rocks Seaweed & Coral, Saltwater Fish Set, Seahorse, Squid & Sting Ray, Tropical Fish Set, Seaweed Tubes & Stripe Coral Set
Dies:  Lawn Fawn Outside/In Stitched Circles
Inks:  Lawn Fawn Jet Black, DOx Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans
Copics:  E00,02,21,23, Y13,15, YR02,04,07,09, RV21,23,25,29, V01,04,09, YG05,06,09, BG000,02,10,13,15,18

Thanks for coming over to visit!
May the Lord bless you today!

  1. Kara, I don't know what there is about fish, but I do love them - especially in fun stamping form! [or filleted and fried!]
