Lawn Fawn's Winter Dragon

This little dragon's frosty breath is sending out a message for a magical holiday season.  I've always seen the season as a time of celebrating Christ's birth, and not really one of magic, but there is something magical about the coming together of people during this time.  Not the wizardry type of magic, but more like the amazing results of loving our neighbor as ourselves.

I heat embossed the sentiment and dragon in silver.  The background was ink blended with Oxide inks and the dragon was colored with Copic markers.  I added glitter to his scarf and horns and sealed it in with a thin coat of glue.

Check out Lawn Fawn's blog for some amazing inspiration!

  1. Cute card, Kara! Love the darling dragon! And amazing color, so pretty!

  2. Adorable! The silver and lilac are a nice departure form the traditional red and green!

  3. I love that lavender and who would think you would call a dragon cute, but he is! Very sweet card, Kara.
