I was going for a blended color scheme. These are the colors in my living room, but we also have orange as an accent color, which is replaced with red at Christmas time.

I'm guessing that it's candle light causing the wonderful glow behind those beautiful windows Kara, and probably no plumbing or cable either. But who needs it when their home is so lovely just as it is?! Lovely, lovely card my friend and can totally see where you got your inspiration from...LOVE the color on your walls!! :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat - no cable? They may have to move from this lovely home! It is a beautiful scene, with soft colors. That sounds like camping, not home. Your home is beautiful. It reflects your stunning art with that wonderful rug and serene palette.
ReplyDeleteThat rug is FABULOUS. This lil house is colored so fabulously, and I love the soft edges and dreamy quality.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, but I do know I'd like to live next door - unless it's mice - eeww!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, gorgeous home, Kara!

Well I don't know about those things, but I do know they have a darling little home! This is so sweet and your living room is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely soft images with awesome coloring! What a sweet house and gorgeous flowers! I’m guessing candles for the lighting for the soft warm glow! And, your living room is lovely! Pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous living room, Kara. Your card looks like it should be hanging on the wall in there.
ReplyDeleteSo soft and dreamy, Kara! Yes, they have electricity because I see all the lights are on, and yes, they have plumbing, but, no, they don't have cable! And no devices allowed! And even though the residents are adults, there love of life is the same as the love of life three-year olds experience. Okay, that's enough, I'm going to go nap and dream about it!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind what this gorgeous little house was equipped with, Kara ... it's just gorgeous ... and it could always be retro-fitted! Love that you used the colours from your sitting room for inspiration (it's stunning btw!). Big hugs and bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! I wanna live there! Oh Kara... I wish I could find the words to say how much I love this... Beautiful colours and an incredible piece of art... Your home is lovely too!
