You're the Sweetest

Bug and Bee seem to agree, You're the Sweetest!
The sentiment is white heat embossed with Distress inks blended over the top for an emboss resist.  The bushes were stamped twice and fussy cut to overlap at different heights.  The ladybug and bee were also fussy cut, with their antennae stamped on the bushes behind them.  I kept all of the layering in green so that the ladybug and bee would stand out.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Purple Onion Designs Garden Bugs, Garden Bushes, Kindness Sentiment Set
Dies:  Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Stackables, Papertrey Ink Cover Plate: Twist
Copics:  YG11,13,17,61,63,67, G20,21,24, BG0000,00, Y04,11,13,15, R24,27,39
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaMark, Distress Ink Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters

  7. Hi sweet friend! Your card is so creative, I had to look and see if I had that PTI die...I don't, but I have other cover plates and you have me inspired to look at those in new ways..so I think I will get crafty and spend this rainy windy day making cards! Hope you and your family are all well, you are keeping safe and what a blessing to have your mom in your home so as not to have to worry about her! My Dad's house is the only place I go, so I know I am not bringing him any virus. My younger daughter is grocery shopping for me, so that is really nice! I do miss hugs from family! Dina's family (next door neighbors!) and I get together to say the rosary every day, they sit on the couch all snuggled together and I either stand 6 feet away or sit in a chair in the corner. Will be so happy when this is contained! Keep inspiring me with your lovely cards! Heart Hugs, Col

  10. Your card bring to mind the song "Wearing of the Green", Kara. They all play so well together and do let the bug and bee take center stage.
