So what's your relationship with glitter? I have a healthy love/hate relationship myself, but I know one thing: If it's anywhere near me, it's drawn to me like metal to a magnet!
This little unicorn is floating over to her friend using a Lawn Fawn slimline slider. The background was ink blended with a Cloudy Stencil and Distress Inks. I used Prisma Glitter and the Glue Tube to add glitter to the unicorns and clouds. The Stitched Rainbow and clouds were die cut from Sparkle Cardstock Spring pack and Pixie Dust pack.
The sentiment is a combination of smaller stamps with the words "drawn" and "like" spelled out from Harold's ABCs.
I created a video to show how I put this card together. You can watch it here, on Lawn Fawn's YouTube channel, or on my YouTube channel. Thanks so much for watching, liking, and subscribing to my channel!

A white cardstock panel was die cut with the Cloudy Day Cover Panel, and a simple curved hill was cut out with scissors. Both were ink blended. A piece of aqua glitter cardstock was adhered behind the Cloudy Day Cover Panel.
The mailbox and envelopes from the Snail Mail stamp set were stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut using the Snail Mail Confetti Cuts.
The sentiment from the This Says it All stamp set was white heat embossed onto a tag from the Three Tag Confetti Cuts that was ink blended to match the pinkish red color of the flowers, flag, and hearts. I clipped the tag to create a sentiment banner.
I ink blended the background, front panel, and the Friends Word SugarCut with a combination of Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, and Broken China Distress Oxides.
Here's a sneak peek of my card featured in the Inspiration Station section of the Reverse Confetti newsletter!
You can sign up for the newsletter over on the Reverse Confetti site. I hope to see you there!
I don't think this cat saw it coming from up there in his makeshift crow's nest. It's a little late for him to call out, "Land Ho!"
I stamped and masked the raft, sail, cat, and flag with selective masking to create one very tall contraption for this pirate. They were then colored with Copic markers.
I masked all the images and the beach and then ink blended the background with Distress Oxides. Finally, I stamped the sentiment.
I hope the boat is coming back for this little chimp! What fun is a treasure without friends?! I am really enjoying Shari Bresciani's illustrations for Purple Onion Designs! This card is the combination of three images and a sentiment:
The island was first stamped on a white cardstock panel. The background was ink blended with Distress Oxides.
On a separate panel, I stamped the monkey, masked him, stamped the treasure chest, masked it, and then stamped the island. I colored them with Copic markers and fussy cut it out and glued it on the background.
I stamped the sentiment along the horizon and added a couple of white gel pen seagulls and water marks.
Supplies:
Purple Onion Stamps: Tropical Island, Chimp, Treasure Chest, Pirate-ments
I hope you can join us this month for our Sun/Moon Twofer Card Challenge! I chose to use a sun die cut from W+9's Sunshine Layers as my common element on both cards:
The first card is a non-traditional use of the sun die. I layered two together to create flowers for an over all background design. There are also raindrops in the set, so I used those for leaves. The additional polka dots are also the sun's center.
The next card is an encouragement card and uses the sun for its traditional purpose. The rainbow, clouds, and word are all die cuts from the same set as the sun. I ink blended the blue panel for an ombre effect.
I hope you are enjoying a little sunshine wherever you are today, but if not, this last card is for you!
Rub a dub dub, three pirates, well, in THREE tubs! They are part of a new release at Purple Onion Designs, illustrated by Shari Bresciani!
I can just imagine the conversation going on between these three. They look a little stunned and I don't think they know how they ended up like this. I'll put the sentiment on the inside of this card. It's either going to a young birthday boy, or an old friend who's bad with directions.
The animals and the barrels are separate. I colored them with Copic markers and fussy cut them out. I cut a slit along the front of the barrel to slip each one inside and added a sail and a flag to the ones that weren't holding one.
Supplies:
Purple Onion Designs Stamps: Felix, Maxwell, Francois, Wood Barrel, Sail and Flag
Follow our ant friends from Lawn Fawn's Crazy Antics down underground for a party! The little ant in the tunnels is adhered to a magnet which can be moved around with either metal or another magnet.
Here he is crawling over to explore his cake:
His friends are bringing the snacks down into the ant hill...
...which they pilfered from this picnic basket:
Some of the ants are down there preparing for the party:
This card sentiment was lovingly modified specifically for me to give to a nephew:
I created a video showing how the ant travels around the maze and how I put the card together. You can watch it here, on Lawn Fawn's YouTube channel, or on my YouTube channel:

It's the tenth of the month which means it's time to begin a new challenge over at Twofer Card Challenge! This month our theme is sun/moon. You may choose either one. I chose a favorite W+9 sun image from A Pocketful. It has retired from their collection, probably years ago, but it's still one of my go-to sets for spreading sunshine:
I masked and ink blended with Distress inks and then stamped the sun on top of that. The pocket was stamped with blue ink onto blue cardstock. I used a white gel pen to highlight the stitching on the pockets and also gold heat embossed the grommets. The start of the sentiment was white heat embossed onto the pocket and the ink blended die cut word finishes the sentiment.
I stamped the sun in two different shades on this birthday card, turning the stamp to fill in more rays. The flowers are from the same stamp set. I added some shaded detail with Copic markers. The panel was layered with a couple of cardstocks and a white diecut lace border. The sentiment, from the same stamp set, was white heat embossed.
Check out all of the inspiration from our guest designers and design team at the Twofer Card Challenge, and then come play along!
Today I have some Make It by Marko crafting tools to share. I met Rebecca Marko through a mutual friend, Linda Weiss, who owns our local paper crafting store, Valley Stamp and Scrap. Linda carries lots of Make It by Marko products in her store and they are so helpful and fun! Rebecca sent me some of these crafting tools to try and I immediately wanted to make a video to spread the word.
In the video, I share a lot of information about these tools and then I put them into action as I make a Lawn Fawn Build An Aquarium note card. Thanks so much for watching!
Make It by Marko products are available at their Esty store and also through some craft store retailers.
After I told Rebecca that I was making a video, she offered to sponsor two give-away prize packs - one in teal, and the other in purple. Once you've watched the video, if you would like to be eligible for this give-away, please leave a comment below and I will randomly choose two winners on August 22nd (limited to US and Canada addresses only).
Each pack includes: 1 set of Brush Buddies, 1 Round Glue Holder, 1 Ring Toss Blender Brush Caddie, and 1 Phone Holder Clip.
Thanks for coming over to visit! May the Lord bless you today! Kara
Today I'm hopping along as a 'Fetti Friend with the Reverse Confetti Design Team!
Yesterday I shared a couple of cards in which the hands were colored with Copic markers. Today I wanted to keep the hands uncolored to symbolize that love is not about the color of our skin, but rather, the actions of our heart.
Using the new Reverse Confetti You Matter stamp set, I stamped partial areas of the hands stamp all around the outer edges of a white 4.25"x5.5" cardstock panel. I colored around the hands with BG45 and BG49 Copic markers.
I stamped the sentiment in teal ink onto the inner panel of Reverse Confetti's Stitched Note and Frames Confetti Cuts, and scribbled Copic BG45 over the top. I also used teal ink to stamp the hearts from the new Reverse Confetti You Matter stamp set, and colored them with Copics.
The new Reverse Confetti release is available today! I hope you're enjoying the hop, the list is down below, and don't forget that Reverse Confetti's summer sale is on now!
