I stamped four different butterflies continuously around the outside of a 4.25"x5.5" panel to create a border of butterflies.
The larger two butterflies are from the Floral Envie stamp set, and the two smaller ones are from the Cottontail Cuties stamp set.
I ink blended the background, front panel, and the Friends Word SugarCut with a combination of Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, and Broken China Distress Oxides.
The little butterfly from Cottontail Cuties was gold embossed and cut out using the coordinating SugarCut to create the dot for the "i". I gold heat embossed a sentiment from Friendship Sentiments to complete the phrase.
Stamps: Cottontail Cuties, Floral Envie, Friendship Sentiments
Dies: Friends Word, Cottontail Cuties

This is lovely Kara!
ReplyDeleteI love those blues blended together. Sweet little butterflies made a great background. That sentiment strikes a chord with me as I have my family then I have my stamping family. Hi Sis!
ReplyDeleteThis is glorious, Cynthia! Your blending is flawless and I love the brilliance of the gold with those blues! And, of course, the sediment is so so true, especially for those without close families. Miss you so much, sister, and hope we can zoom soon! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove the beautiful blended blue background with all the lovely butterflies! A perfect sentiment! Friends certainly do become our chosen family! Such a lovely card, Kara! Take care, hugs!!
