The Twelve Kits of Occasions: December Edition!

The month of December and the year of 2019 draws to a close.  We are all ready to celebrate the coming of 2020, but first it's time to celebrate December's 12 Kits of OccasionsMarcia is our host this month, and she sent us the most amazing package of items to create Christmas tags!  I think I used almost every little bit of this kit and created sixteen tags!

All of the supplies Marcia included helped make each tag unique:

I am in love with this sweet scarf donned owl!  He's colored in Copics and the tag is ink blended over a SugarPea Designs stencil.
I adhered the Tim Holtz tissue paper that Marcia included to make this quick tag!
A little masking and ink blending was all it took to finish this car with tree scene.  Of course, those snowflakes that Marcia included in the kit completed the look.
I used a couple of stencils on both of these tags.  The white tag received DI Festive Berries, and the red tag received SU! white ink.  I added some SugarPea Designs holly and berries.
I decided that this bear was enjoying a cup of peppermint mocha.  Those peppermint candies that Marcia included are so adorable!
This polar bear sits on a masked and ink blended background too.
Marcia cut out all the pieces for this shaker jar!  I added a LF sentiment and a little ribbon.
Marcia's packaging included this wonderful washi tape which I added to the top and bottom of this tag.
These deer were shaded with DI Gathered twigs.  I stenciled a bit of snow on this beautiful gray tag and added a white cs snow hill.
Such a fun llama to color!  The white tag was ink blended with DI Mowed Lawn.
Such a sweet little snow globe!  Marcia even die cut that snow bank for us!
This tag started out white.  I ink blended it in DI Festive Berries and then Aged Mahogany through a stencil.
This is actually a cute tiny little tag.  You can see how it compares to the others in the group photo at the top.
A little kraft/white/red combo for this polar bear mamma and her cubs.
This tag was colored using Derwent Inktense pencils and then ink blended with a bit of DI Chipped Sapphire.

Thank you, Marcia, for all of the fun little bits and pieces!  All of the products in the kit are listed over at the 12 Kits of Occasions blog.  Please stop by for much more inspiration from all of my teammates!

Winter Stamps by Julian Charlton for Purple Onion Designs!

"Well, let me explain," said the bunny as he hopped up on the sled...

These hilarious new images are designed by Purple Onion Designs' new illustrator, Julian Charlton.  I selectively stamped their hats and scarves in Catherine Pooler inks, then stamped the rest of the images in SSS Intense Black.  After masking off a snow border, and the images, I ink blended the background in the same CP inks.  Finally, I speckled a little white acrylic paint around with a stiff paint brush.

Supplies:
Purple Onion Designs stamps
Ink:  SSS Intense Black, Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey, All That Jazz, Flirty Fuchsia

SugarPea Designs Sneak Peek Week - Day 5

Gorgeous heart prints are the focus on this, the fifth and final day of SugarPea Designs' Sneak Peek Week!
I stamped out one of the heart prints from the Heart Prints stamp set, along with the word "love" from the Sentiments of Love stamp set.  I used several shades from dark red to light peach ink to create an ombre effect.  I used a couple of Copic markers to shade in the little heart inside the heart to mimic the larger ombre look.  Sentiments from both stamp sets were white heat embossed on black cardstock which was then notched into flags.

Sugar Pea Designs Sneak Peek Week - Day 4

Today, day four of SugarPea Designs' Sneak Peek Week, we're sharing the cutest fleet of robots on the market, and the best thing about them is that they're in love:

This little robot was stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies.  The sentiment, from the Love Machine stamp set, was white heat embossed onto the speech bubble from the Enjoy Tag Set.  The heart, and panels were all cut using the Postage Stamp Cover Plate.  I used Nuvo drops to embellish a bit.

We are also featuring the English Bond Brick Wall stencil today, so please check it out during the hop!

SugarPea Designs Sneak Peek Week - Day 3

Champagne complete with bubbles is on the menu today along with new products to share from SugarPea Designs' Sneak Peek Week!
This Dangle Hearts Cover Plate makes a quick and easy background complete with focal point!  I die cut the panel in both white and red, cutting the center heart out of the red one to place on the white one.  For my focal image, I used the Cheers to You stamps and coordinating dies.  The glasses were die cut in clear acetate and in gold shimmer paper.  I trimmed the gold at an angle and stamped and heat embossed the bubbles.  I ran the gold champagne through a Xyron sticker maker upside down so that the front would stick to the clear glasses.  I finished off by die cutting the Cheers word die and Valentine word die out of red cardstock.
